LARRY KENT | President / Executive Project Manager / Estimator

Larry has been involved with the development and construction business for over thirty years. He is a 1984 graduate of The School of Architecture and Environmental Design, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management. Larry founded Kent Construction in 1996, completing over $350 million in construction projects since the firm’s inception. He oversees all aspects of the company, while actively maintaining the role of Executive Project Manager/Estimator.

LORI KENT | VP / Business Development and Marketing

Lori currently manages Business Development and Marketing for Kent Construction. She is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.

JACQUE MORTON | Controller

Jacque has managed accounting operations for Kent Construction since 1997. She directs all financial activities of the organization including accounting, banking, insurance, bonding and human resources.

GREG FILICE | Senior Project Manager / Estimator

Greg has been associated with Kent Construction since 1996 as head of construction and facilities for one of our largest clients. He joined the Kent Team in 2006 bringing his many years of experience in residential campus projects, phased commercial and theme parks. Greg has been a licensed contractor since 1978.

TIM SHERMAN | Project Manager / Estimator

Tim joined the Kent Team in 2000. Prior to Kent Construction he was a licensed general contractor, running his own business for five years. His background includes working as the Lead Carpenter Foreman for a large framing contractor.

JOHN ANDERSON | Project Manager / Estimator

John joined the Kent Team in 2010. Prior to joining Kent Construction he worked as a Land Development Manager and Project Manager for large companies in the Bay Area. John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Central Washington University.

SAM KENT | Assistant Project Manager

Sam has held various field and office roles for Kent Construction over the past several years. He joined the Kent Team as a full time Assistant Project Manager upon his graduation from California State University Chico.

BOB HERNANDEZ | Safety Manager

Bob joined the Kent Team in 2007, bringing over 25 years of construction experience. He manages safety operations for Kent Construction, including employee and equipment training and Cal/OSHA compliance.

KELLIE SILHANEK | Project Engineer / Compliance Monitor

Kellie has been with Kent Construction since 2004. She manages project documentation, coordinates meetings, issues contracts and change orders. She requests and tracks RFIs, project submittals, warranty and closeout documentation. She also monitors certified payroll compliance for public works projects, working with both the owners and subcontractors.

BRENDA SHAW | Project Engineer

Brenda has been with Kent Construction since 2005. She manages project documentation, issues contracts and change orders. She requests and tracks RFIs, project submittals, warranty and closeout documentation. She assists the Estimators with bidding documentation for all public works projects, including annual General Contractor qualification documentation.

JEANETTE RAMOS | Accounts Payable / Insurance

Jeanette joined Kent Construction in 2013. She has over 20 years of accounting experience. She currently manages all accounts payable and insurance compliance.

DARRELL PAIGE | Superintendent

Darrell has been associated with Kent Construction since May 1998. Prior to joining the Kent Team, he worked for Nob Hill Foods for seventeen years in Construction Operations.

STEVE JESKE | Superintendent

Steve has been associated with Kent Construction since August 2000. He also is a licensed California Contractor. Steve has worked in construction since 1980 and has moved up the ranks from Carpenter to Superintendent.

JASON MORTON | Superintendent

Jason joined Kent Construction in 1999. He has over 30 years of experience in construction including remodel/renovation, custom home building, and wood framed commercial/mixed use buildings.

JAN-BART HOOGSTEDE | Superintendent

Bart joined the Kent Construction team in 2001. He has over 30 years experience in construction including remodel/renovations, custom homes, and wood framed commercial/mixed use buildings.

CHRIS CARDENAS | Superintendent

Chris joined Kent Construction in 2010 and has held various field construction positions. Most recently, he was Assistant to the Superintendent for the Oakwood School Project. He is currently a Superintendent for the Kent Team.

CHRIS MADEWELL | Superintendent

Chris has been associated with Kent Construction for several years as an owner’s construction manager for multiple tenant improvement projects. He joined the Kent Team in 2020 as a Superintendent.

JORGE MORELOS | Superintendent

Jorge has been employed with Kent Construction since 2004. He has performed carpentry, drywall, and other field duties, working his way to his current position as Superintendent.

BRENDAN LERMA | Assistant Superintendent / Field Construction

Brendan joined the Kent Team in 2016. He performs various field construction duties and is currently assisting the Superintendent on a school modernization project.

JUAN DIMAS RODRIGUEZ | Field Construction

Dimas joined the Kent Team in 2014, bringing several years of construction experience. He currently holds a field construction position.
